What’s Coming Up for CAP in 2018

March 26, 2018

CAP Security Services had a busy couple of months to kick off 2018, from providing static security for a host of new corporate clients, event security at concert events including Foo Fighters, RnB Vine Days, and A Day on the Green, and sporting events such as cricket at The Gabba, and the Brisbane Global Rugby Tens at Suncorp Stadium.

As for the remainder of 2018, it isn’t showing any signs of slowing down for CAP Security Services. Our staff are set to embrace a huge array of festivals, sporting events and jaw-dropping performances across Queensland. January and February were great, but …

… take a look forward into the year to come for CAP Security Services.

Pop sensation Ed Sheeran returned down under for another sold-out tour. His last album release in March 2017 featured hit sensations Galway Girl, Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill, so it should come as no surprise that his two Suncorp Stadium shows sold out! CAP Security Services prepared for two electric evenings with Ed Sheeran and over 100,000 of his devoted fans. The multi-grammy award winner dazzled audiences with a concert they’ll remember for a long time to come. CAP Security Services and event staff were located throughout the venue to provide patrons with assistance as required, and generally, keep an eye on the crowd.

Adding to the action, the event will be choreographed with pyrotechnics, a concert sound system, and mega screen replays with multiple camera angles that will take the audience behind the scenes and inside the bucking chutes as riders prepare for the ride of their life. CAP Security Services will have staff at the gate, and in the stadium and bar to ensure a safe and family-friendly environment for all patrons. Tough Mudder is renowned as one of the most gruelling obstacle courses across the globe, and we are excited to be providing security solutions for yet another year … especially because Toughest Mudder is coming to Australia for the first time. Toughest Mudder is an 8-hour obstacle course that takes teamwork, stamina and mental grit to the extreme, all between the hours of midnight and 8am. With multiple regions, geographies and hardcore contenders from across the globe, it’s the ultimate challenge for Mudders insane enough to push themselves beyond anything they’ve ever experienced. The usual Tough Mudder course itself is not for the faint-hearted, stretching over 16km with more than 20 obstacles that require strength, determination, teamwork and sometimes a sense of humour.
CAP Security Services is always inspired by the participants who push their limits, all in the name of health and ‘enjoyment’. It’s a pleasure to provide a safe and secure event for Tough (and Toughest) Mudders to enjoy themselves. For participants wanting to find out more about Tough Mudder, visit the link here.

Fortunately, the local talent from the Super Rugby competition will provide Wallabies coach, Michael Cheika, with a selection of exceptional players to face the Irish. The match promises to be a spectacular display of Australian sportsmanship and a great opener for the series.
